Estonian media group acquires in Lithuania

AS Ekspress Grupp, has acquired online Lithuanian news portal lrytas.lt from Lietuvos Rytas, the largest daily newspaper in Lithuania.

The deal does not include the printed newspaper. Terms of are confidential.

lrytas.lt has c.420,000 visitors per day, over 50 employees and annual advertising revenue of €3 million.

Ekspress Grupp is one of the leading media groups in the Baltics with interests in online media, newspapers, magazines, books and electronic ticketing.
