Austrian industrial group cuts in Estonia

AS Wienerberger is to discontinue certain activity at it's brick factory in Aseri on August 31 for an unspecified span of time, resulting in approx. 50% headcount reduction.

The factory will continue making black products and cutting cornerstones and stone slabs.

Cooling demand in the Nordics, Baltics, and Poland, high inflation, and uncertainty are all cited factors.
